Training
The Ariodante Fabretti
Foundation, a research and documentation centre on Death, was established in
1999, taking the place of the previous Centre of Studies of the same name,
which had been founded in 1992 following an initiative of the Turin Cremation
Society. Its charter members were the University, the Municipality and the
Province of Turin, the Turin Cremation Society (Socrem), and the Region of
Piedmont. The Foundation's objective is to become a reference point for all
those who are interested in death and related topics through research
facilities, highly qualified researchers and interdisciplinary Committee.
