the restoration works we decided to organize the activities inside
the building in the pre-existent areas. For this reason we identified
the following functional areas:

- THE MAIN BODY
The main body of the building, that covers 2/3 of the whole area,
will contain the most important collections of the Museum and of the
Security School. It will be composed of four levels.
First Level (Basement Floor):
This level (about 1600 square meters) will contain the most recent
motor vehicles and the equipment of the years after the second world
war. There will be also an area dedicated to the drills and the interventions
of Civil Defence starting from the second half of the twentieth century.
There will then be a multimedia records of the images, films, photos,
starting from the documents of the first years of the eighteenth century.
A specialized library, provided with historical and technical books,
will be created in the same area.
