• Location
  The Music Fair will be held at the Lingotto Fiere exhibition pavilions and at the Lingotto Congressi conference halls, via Nizza 280 - 10126 Torino.

• Dates, time and admission
  The Music Fair will be held from Thursday 16th to Tuesday 21st October 1997, and will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12 midnight.

  The full ticket price is £ 15,000 and the reduced ticket price is £ 10,000. A special pass, valid for the entire period of the fair, is available for £ 40,000 (two entrances per day).

  Persons entitled to the reduced ticket price: Children ages 11 to 18, classes accompanied by their teachers who have authorization from the principal of their school, military, disabled (civil/war injuries).

  Admission is free to children under 11 years and the disabled.

  The following "professionals" are entitled to a free pass: journalists; record company owners/employees; musical managers; promoters; disc-jockeys; authors; composers; performers; music teachers; music researchers; book and music score editors; booksellers; librarians; musical institution representatives (associations, schools, lyrical/symphonic/festival organizations); instrument manufacturers; discotheque and music club owners; music, instrument, video, and multimedia product store owners/employees; recording studio owners; suppliers of music services and accessories.

• Logistics
  The Music Fair will occupy four exhibition pavilions of Lingotto Fiere. There are five areas reserved for musical performances: the Arena (4,0000 person capacity); the "G. Agnelli" Auditorium (1,900 seats); the Palalingotto (800 seats); the Sala 500 (500 seats); the Palco Performance (300 seats).
  Conferences and seminars are held in seven conference halls of Lingotto Congressi.

  There are two entrances to the Music Fair: the car park entrance and the pedestrian entrance. The Visitor's Gallery on the first floor houses the Organization Offices of the Music Fair and the Nursery. The Press Office is located on the mezzanine floor of the Lingotto Congressi.

• Instructions for admission to musical exhibitions and concerts
  All the musical performances and concerts are free (included in the entrance ticket). For some events - in the interests of crowd control and safety - the public will have to pick up admission tickets at the "Green Point" two hours prior to the event. The concerts that require tickets will be listed in the Music Fair program.
