On the occasion of the IV World Conference on women, the Executive of IFBPW agreed to start up a new group sympathetic to the aims of IFBPW: that of International Fellow.

Designed to recognise achievement by women in any sphere of business or professional life, the International Fellowship is open to candidates by application to the Fellowship Committee.

IFBPW also recognises the important role of the private sector in the advancement of women, by welcoming Corporate bodies into its Fellowship.

International Fellows are at hearth of IFBPW's development as a world-leading women's organisations. They receive IFBPW publications and have an automatic place at the International Fellow's table at IFBPW Conferences and at other major events, enjoying an unparalleled opportunity to influence the movement for greater recognition for women in business and the professions.

International Fellows, like the Friends of IFBPW, have full use of the library, research and other facilities at the Headquarters in London.
